Dear Parrots magazine,
Clean air
I read somewhere that ionisers are good if you keep birds in your house. I personally had always thought these machines as an ‘all in the mind concept’ because when asking people who had one if it made a difference to them, they weren’t sure.
My attitude changed when I realised that the cool air blower I bought this summer also had an ioniser setting and I decided to try it out through curiosity. My goodness what a difference it has made.Despite not having fitted carpets and vacuuming daily, my birds and I were often sneezing. However, now I don’t here the birds sneeze at all and my sneezing has greatly reduced too.
So if those feather and shucks are tickling your nose an ioniser may help.
