Cosmo’s amazing ability
Thank you so much for keeping us informed on the progress of Spix’s Macaws, I have just enjoyed reading the last instalment in issue July 2013 (186). I love hearing about the successful breeding attempts with these rare birds and look forward to their eventual release back into the wild in Brazil.
I also enjoy reading the articles about the African Grey, Cosmo. That parrot is an amazing bird! I always share articles about Cosmo with my husband, as her speaking abilities are so incredible. Cosmo certainly seems to understand poop as mentioned in the July 2013 (186) issue. My parrot can poop on command - at least she makes an effort. She doesn't always need "to go" though, when we ask her to poop!
